StrainDex
The StrainDex is Wietly's built-in strain encyclopedia. It tracks every strain you've ever tried and lets you explore thousands more.
Your strain collection
Open your Profile and tap the Strains tab. At the top you'll see your StrainDex progress — for example, 3 of 9,029 discovered. Every strain you log in a check-in gets added to your personal collection automatically.
Below that is your Tried list — all the strains you've sampled so far, with a small badge showing how many times you've smoked each one.
Exploring the full database
Scroll down to the StrainDex section to browse the full catalog of 9,000+ strains. Use the search bar to find a specific one by name.
Each strain card shows its name, type (Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid), and a photo. Tap a strain to open its detail page with a full description and community ratings.
Strain types

| Sativa | Uplifting, energetic, creative — often a head high |
| Indica | Relaxing, calming, body-heavy — great for unwinding |
| Hybrid | A mix of both — effects vary by the specific strain |
Note: individual experiences vary. The type is a guideline, not a guarantee.
Adding a custom strain
If you're smoking something that isn't in the StrainDex, you can add it yourself when creating a check-in. On the check-in form, tap Can't find it? Add a custom strain and enter the name. It'll be saved to your personal collection.
